From flying cars to thinking drones

In the introduction to the Volume Breaking Airplanes volume published in 2014, we promised that, if the possibilities allowed, we would even write about those unusually interesting and often exciting airplanes that were no longer included in the first volume due to size limitations. Now is the time. Completeness, of course, could not be achieved now either, not least because aircraft designers are constantly coming up with newer and newer ideas, some of which are quite surprising. Thus, this topic cannot be completely exhausted with the greatest effort, but it can still be pursued. That's what we do.
