Rákóczi's work Confessions of Saint Augustine 1-2. like his book, soliloquium (solus: alone loqui: to speak), inner monologue. The second person singular, the divine Goodness, is at the center of the work, and everything that happens takes place by the Lord's will and takes shape due to his infinite grace. The work consists of three books. The first is related to the period of Rákóczi's life from his birth to June 1703, the beginning of the War of Independence, the second to the events connected with emigration to Poland and France from 1711 to the middle of 1717, and the third to the end of 1717 to 1719 to hopes and failures in Turkey.
