Balázs Kántás (Budapest, 1987) is a literary historian and critic, a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of Literary Studies of the Eötvös Loránd University. His primary field of research is Paul Celan's poetry and Hungarian reception, as well as an active critic of contemporary Hungarian literature, especially lyric poetry. In this short volume of study, he publishes the (case) studies that have emerged in recent years in the field of the theory and practice of poetry translation, in part as research into Paul Celan’s oeuvre, as its branches.
